In order to achieve the largest degree of freedom possible while, at the same time, securing the optimal functionality, a number of the models from EICO can also be acquired with an external engine. This means, that the engine isn’t located inside the cooker hood itself, but can be placed outside the kitchen, or even outside the building itself.

A movable engine is a good, powerful engine, which is incorporated in the cooker hood. The engine can, on request, be moved from the cooker hood and placed externally on the ceiling. The engine has to be installed in a box, in order to create the correct amount of pressure. The model of cooker hood determines if an external box for the movable engine has to be bought as a supplement, or if the engine is constructed completely with a box of its own.
