The Ducq series is made of 3-ply stainless steel with an aluminium core encapsulated by two layers of 304 stainless steel.

This ensures:

✔ 304 stainless steel prevents steam from condensing

Designed for modern hobs and ovens

The Ducq cookware set is particularly well suited for induction thanks to its magnetic base, but it is also compatible with gas, ceramic and conventional hobs. The fully cast base ensures an even and stable contact surface, minimising the risk of scratches on your hob.

Designed for downdraft solutions

The pots are designed to perform optimally with downdraft extractors, which draw steam and particles downwards rather than upwards. This places specific demands on both cookware and lids, and Ducq pots are particularly well suited to this solution because:

✔ Lid design enables controlled steam release
– The tightly fitting lids prevent steam from escaping to the sides. All steam is directed towards the extractor, allowing it to be captured more efficiently by a downdraft hood.

✔ Fully cast base ensures stable contact with the hob
– The solid base provides improved heat distribution and keeps the pots perfectly level. This prevents steam from unintentionally escaping in the wrong directions.

✔ Optimal height and diameter
– Lower and wider pots help guide the steam flow, enabling the extractor to capture steam and grease particles more effectively.

The set’s stainless steel handles are made from hollow stainless steel and are not welded directly to the pot, which means:

Non-stick pan with ceramic coating
