Cleaning and Maintenance

General cleaning of the product
To maintain the appearance and performance of your product, we recommend:

✅ Clean with a soft, damp cloth and a mild, neutral detergent.
✅ Avoid tools, scouring pads or other abrasive materials.
✅ Never use abrasive cleaners or alcohol.
✅ Glass and plastic surfaces must not be exposed to harsh chemicals.

Note:
Do not use steam cleaners.
Clean the hob after each use, once cooled.
Sugar, salt or other coarse particles can scratch the surface and should be removed immediately.

Maintenance of the grease filter (steel filter)
The grease filter captures grease particles from cooking and must be cleaned regularly:

✅ Clean the filter at least once a month or when indicated by the display.
✅ Use mild detergent and clean the filter either:

• Manually: Rinse with warm water and neutral detergent.

• In a dishwasher: Low temperature, short cycle.

Note:
Discolouration of the filter may occur when washed in the dishwasher – this does not affect its performance.

Maintenance of the recirculation filter (LongLife odour filter – for recirculating version only)
The odour filter neutralises cooking smells and, with correct maintenance, lasts up to 3 years:

✅ Cleaning

• Manually with hot water, without using detergent or cleaning agents.

• Alternatively, in a dishwasher at 60-65°C for 6-7 minutes, without detergent and without other items in the machine.

✅ Drying
The filter must be dried in a conventional, non-ventilated oven at a maximum of 75°C for 50 minutes.
Keep the filter away from heating elements and direct heat sources.

Important:
Never use alcohol or abrasive cleaners.
Always follow the manufacturer’s temperature instructions when drying the filter
