The shelves in Vestfrost wine coolers are made of untreated beech wood. Shelves made of North American oak can be purchased separately, except for the WFG models. The wood is, of course, untreated, so as not to risk damage and unwanted taste effects from e.g. lacquer treatment. The advantages of wooden shelves are that they absorb vibrations better than similar wire or plastic shelves. Max. Load 85 kg.
