The traditional carbon filters are integrated ind the steel filter/container. This unit contain grains of activated carbon that can trap and bind grease and odors. These filters should be replaced regularly every three or four months. While using recirculation, windows and doors, and any air system with access to fresh air should be closed. Note:
If you do not have the opportunity to blow the air out of the kitchen, then you can use a recirculation fan. Note! The filters do not remove steam. This is removed by extra ventilation or e.g. via the central ventilation system of the house. While using recirculation, windows, doors, and any air system with access to fresh air should be closed.
Standard recirculation filter
